The Ripper is a Melee Weapon item which can be bought from Nitro Express. This weapon was added in Game Version v1.10.0 alongside a number of Melee weapons.

Description

The Ripper is a Mouthheld weapon with a bronze colored body and handle. The blade portion the weapon is a gray metal trapezium with a series of Serrated teeth. When held in a pony's mouth the teeth will animate, rotating clockwise around the blade when held to the right, and ani-clockwise when held to the left. The weapon is coated in a layer of red substance, likely blood, implying that it has been previously used against a fleshy target.

Trivia

• The Ripper item is a reference to the Ripper™ vibroblade weapon which has appeared in every single Fallout Game in some form. The design of the Ashes Town weapon is similar to the Military Ripper as it has appeared in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, it even possess the similar amount of blood which covers the blade.
• The Ripper is one of five items which has an animated Sprite, the others include the Electric prod, the Lantern, and both variants of the Flare item when consumed.
