Syringe
The Syringe is a series of four general items known as Syringe (blue), Syringe (green), Syringe (orange), and Syringe (red). These four items are occasionally sold by Copper Caps at the same buy and sell price. The Blue, Green and Orange syringe was added in Update v1.11.0, and the Red syringe was added in update v1.23.4.
Description
The design of the syringe is similar to that of a real life Syringes, however these variants appear to be made of metal, as the barrel is made up of shades of gray. The plunger is a darker gray with a black head, and the needle shaft is black. Each syringe is identical in both name and design, but possess a different colored vertical stripes on each end of the syringe which matches the color specified in the bracketed portion of the name.
Trivia
- In the Fallout Equestria Universe the drug Painkiller is described to be injected with the use of a Syringe.
- However as Fallout Equesria does not make mention of any color, it is impossible to currently ascertain what syringe in Ashes.Town appropriately fills what role.
- The designs of these Syringes could be based off Syringe based off Chems in the Fallout Games.
- There is a similarity between Syringe (blue) and Med-X as seen in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, both possess a blue bar across the barrel, however the Fallout variant has the blue section travel lengthways across the barrel.
- The design of Med-X in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 possesses a similarity to the design of Syringe (orange), both have an orange stripe at the base of the plunger, however lacks a stripe on the needle shaft end, and instead has a purple stripe traveling lengthways across the barrel.
- Curiously the changelog to update v1.23.4 describes the Syringe (red) as being "old [and] missing".
