The Sledge hammer is a Melee Weapon item which can be bought from Nitro Express. It was added in the v1.10.0 Update alongside a number of other Mouth-held melee weapons. Currently it is the weapon which deals the most damage in the game, followed by the Fire axe. Notably, the weapon also has the slowest attack cooldown, being the only weapon to surpass 3 seconds.

Description

The Sledge hammer is a tool designed to apply significant force across a wide surface using its heavy head, as such they have seen much use in Construction and Demolition workplaces. The weapon possesses a long wooden handle with a darkened grip in the middle where your Pony holds onto. The head of the hammer is a gray metallic rectangle affixed to one end of the wooden shaft.

Trivia

• The Sledge hammer as a weapon has appeared in a number of fallout games, Specifically Fallout 1, 2, 3, 4, 76, and Fallout: New Vegas. Of the sledge hammers present, the design is most similar to the Sledge hammer used in Fallout 1 and 2, as it possess a dark colored grip on a wooden handle.
