Duct tape
Duct tape is a General which is exclusively sold by Mehanika. The item was first introduced in update v1.15.0, however following the Stable redesign in v1.22.0 the item became unobtainable was re-categorized as a legacy item. In v1.23.4, the item would become available once more, being sold by the Static stock vendor in the Stable's second level.
Description
The Duct tape as the name implies is a roll of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, often used in a variety of construction situations due to it's strength and versatility as an adhesive material. The tape is often made of a form of woven material including cloth, cotton, canvas, or scrim. This particular version is entirely colored a shade of dark blue including the support tube in the center. The item has seen significant use in and around the Stable, with multiple roles appearing in the Stable's grounds as well as it being used in the creation of multiple melee weapons.
Trivia
- The Duct tape item has appeared in multiple Fallout titles, Specifically Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout Shelter. However in all appearances, Duct tape has been colored a generic grey. Which differs from the dark blue which Ashes Town uses.
- As mentioned, the Duct tape has seen use in the creation of the Knife spear and it's Festive counterpart. Specifically the blue duct tape has been used to secure the Kitchen Knife to the wooden pole.
