The Clipboard is a General item which can occasionally be bought from Copper Caps. It is unknown when Clipboards were added, however records mention them being added as early as December 2019, implying they were added in update v1.11.0.

Description

Much like the real life counterpart, the Clipboard is a thin rigid board with a metallic clip at the top designed to hold hold paper in place. With the Ashes Town variant, the board appears to be made of some carrot colored material, a metallic clip. The piece of paper present on the clipboard appears to have four gray lines across it, if this is meant to be words, numbers, or some other recorded information is entirely speculation.

Trivia

• Clipboards have appeared in multiple Fallout games, Ranging from Fallout 2, 3, 4, 76, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout Tactics. Of all of the appearances, it appears very similar to some of the variants of the Clipboards in Fallout 3, and the clipboard in Fallout Tactics.
• In the Fallout Equestria universe, Clipboards made by the Pre-War company Clip-Clop's Clibpoards are fabricated out an incredibly resistant mineral known as Stubbornite, before being replaced by the less resistant material of Obstinatanium when it became scarce.
