Blowtorch
The Blowtorch is a General Item which can be naturally found around the Wasteland or alternatively purchased from Mehanika. It was first introduced in update v1.15.0 where it was seen as objectively the worst item due to the fact that it can not stack, could not be sold to any NPC Vendors present at the time, and served no practical function. However in v1.23.4 a Static stock vendor was added to the Stable minutely redeeming the item as it can be now sold for a marginal profit.
Description
The Blowtorch is a form of gas lamp which uses fuel and air to form a strong flame. The blowtorch is made up of a blue tank which stores the flammable liquid, at one end is the metallic nozzle which gradually curves downwards. On the top of the nozzle is a darker section, implying the existence of a valve. Is to be noted that the design of the item bears heavy similarity to a Propane torch, implying what gas is used for the flame.
Trivia
- The Blowtorch item has appeared as a Junk item in both Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. However the designs in said games appear to resemble traditional blowtorches, not the Propane torch design used in Ashes Town.
