Bat
The Bat is a series of two Melee Weapon items which share an identical name, they can be obtained from Nitro Express. It is one of few items that possess a direct upgrade, it being the Bat (nails), which is not categorized as a Seasonal exclusive, though it does a seasonal exclusive as well. One of the bats was introduced in update v1.10.0.
Description
While the two bats share a name, but their designs differ slightly. The first variant has a barrel made of a light tan wood, and notably lacks a taper. It has a dark brown handle, and the nob at the end is similarly made of the light tan wood. In the changelog for v1.10.0 the game refers to the item as a 'baseball bat'.
The second bat is entirely colored tan colored lacking any sort of handle. The bat possesses a notably curved end, a standard barrel and a taper that arcs upwards to a handle and nob that is aligns with the top of the bat. This bat has been referred to by developers as a 'Bat (classic)', likely due to it having existed before the previous bat.

- The design of the first variant of the bat is echoed in the Bat (nails), and the seasonal exclusive 🎄 Bat.
- The design of the two bats appear to be similar in design to two weapons found in Fallout: New Vegas, the first variant of the bat bears a similar design to the Gun Runners Arsenal of the Baseball bat which includes the Maple body and Cork core modifications. While the second variant bears similarity to the default GRA Baseball bat.
