Krivbekhavi

The Krivbekhavi is a Melee Weapon item which could be exclusively obtained as a drop reward for killing the Boss of the Nightmare Night event, located in the Sewers. As the event was limited to 2022, and did not receive a rerun in 2023 (unlike the New Years event), this item can only be obtained by trading for it with other Players.

Description

The design of the Krivbekhavi is a familiar one, mirroring a variant of the Knife weapon. This knife's serrated blade has rusted with the heal of the blade and the guard being covered in a glowing green material. The handle of the handle of the weapon similarly has turned from a brown handle to an off green color. The inclusion of a Diamond emoticon before their name has been confirmed to signify that it is a unique item.

Trivia

  • When Death Grip was alive as an inhabitant NPC, they were seen holding the bloody variant of the knife. However the Krivbekhavi's design mirrors that of the standard knife variant.
  • The Knife's name makes a reference to two different elements.
    • The Krivbekhavi is firstly a reference to the item The Krivbeknih found in Fallout 3's Point Look Out add-on. It is in turn a reference to the Necronomicon from H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos as well as similar tomes of the dead. This item is referenced in Fallout Equestria though the Black Book.
    • The Krivbekhavi is secondly a reference to Mchavi, one of the bosses found in the 2D arcade platformer game Fallout Equestria: Remains. In the game, Mchavi is the holder of the Black Book item and plans to use the Player's heart in an evil project involving Necromancy.
    • These references were confirmed when the Developer Ramennoodles posted in the #announcements channel on the Ashes.Town official discord, awarding 666 caps to whoever could decipher the meaning behind the weapon's name.
  • The categorization as a unique weapon is similar to how the Fallout Franchise has treated Unique Weapons, being one-of-a-kind variants of common weapons which often posses better stats than the stand counterpart.
