The Hockey stick is a Melee Weapon item which can be bought from Nitro Express. This weapon was added in Game Version v1.10.0 along side a vast selection of mouth-held melee weapons.
Description
The Hockey stick is based off real world Hockey sticks, specifically the ones used in Ice Hockey to move and strike Hockey pucks around the Ice Rink. The sporting tool appears to be made entirely of Wood, with a maroon Hockey tape strapped around the shaft of the Hockey stick and also across the blade, the former usage of tape being used to provide grip when a user is swinging the Hockey stick.
Trivia
- The weapon possesses a seasonal exclusive variant in the form of the 🎄 Hockey stick.
- The item curiously is not seen to be a direct reference to a weapon or junk item present in any Fallout game, making it an oddity in it's inclusion.
- A Hockey stick has been noted to be present in the world of MLP, specifically in the Fifth episode of Season 5, Tanks for the Memories, however it is unlikely that this is the reasoning for it's presence in Ashes Town.
- When asked on this matter. A Developer, though uncertain, made connection to the presence of a Hockey Mask in Fallout 3, as a potential justification.
